About "Wiesloch Shopping"
Who needs this page?
This page is needed by people like me who always seem to end up in front of closed shop doors. As a rule of thumb you can assume that most shops in Germany are open from 10:00 - 12:00 and from 15:00 - 17:00 unless it is a Wednesday, Saturday or Monday. If you often shop outside these hours then this list is for you.
What is the sort criteria?
The shops are loosely categorized although you shouldn't overlook the ' ?' section which lists all sorts of absolutely essential shops which don't fit into the other categories.
These categories are roughly sorted according to how edible the content of the shops is. You might think that this is not possible but you'd be surprised how nutritious the sole of a boot really is on a Sunday afternoon (having missed the supermarket's opening hours by 2 minutes on a Saturday afternoon)
The shops are not really sorted within the different categories. I added them in the order that I collected the information. In other words the bottom or top of the list is not a reflection of quality.
Which shops qualify?
Any shop which displays it's opening hours in the window when it is closed qualifies for the list. Technically shops which only have a "19:00" sign displayed do not qualify, but because they go to such an extent to make shopping easy by being open in the evening, I've included them anyway. It is entirely up to you as to whether you risk trying to visit them before 10:00 am and between 12:00 and 15:00.
